A newly announced mixed media project entitled BLUE HUNTER: Manatsu to Toki no Kairyuu (“BLUE HUNTER: The Ocean Currents of Midsummer Time”) seeks to raise awareness and encourage action on cleaning up litter that pollutes the ocean.
The project is the creation of the Manga, Anime and Game Educational Creation Center, an organization that seeks to use pop culture to address social issues. BLUE HUNTER is part of the “Ocean and Japan Project CHANGE FOR THE BLUE” marine litter control initiative.
