Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures is releasing worldwide in five languages on April 13th. Similary Yash’s long awaited ‘KGF : Chapter 2’ directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films is also hitting the screens on April 14th in multiple languages.
Fans and the trade pundits are anticipating a huge box office clash between ‘Beast’ and ‘KGF 2’. Meanwhile those associated with the two biggies are bonding big on social media without seeing each other as a threat. Yash during his promotions stated that he is not a competitor but on the contrary a big fan of Thalapathy Vijay and that he will watch ‘Beast’ for sure.
Nelson Dilipkumar meanwhile has paid it back by reacting to the massive 109 million views in 24 hours for ‘KGF 2’ trailer. He wrote on Twitter “It’s massive and lit can’t wait”. This is a sure sign that there is only healthy competition and no animosity between those associated with what could be the biggest box office clashes in recent history.
‘Beast’ has Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead with Anirudh scoring the music. ‘KGF : Chapter 2’ has Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
