R&B singer Ari Lennox took to Twitter to announce she’s done with social media. The trolls win again.

Sultry “Pressure” singer Ari Lennox celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday and claimed it was the most depressing birthday to date. Although many fans showed love to Ari on her birthday, she blocked at least 50 trolls who followed her just to hurl criticism and attacks her way.
Ari explained in a tweet, “Probably the most depressing birthday to date. Thanks everyone for being so sweet though. Enjoyed blocking about 50 folks just now. So annoyed with me but @ing me and quoting me. It’s giving [getting] obsessed.”
Ari went on to express her happiness of sobriety for the last 4 months, and how people you think care for you only when it benefits them. She went on to explain that after the release of her album she will be calling social media quits, besides Youtube.
“Deleting all my socials except YouTube after this album drop. And prayerfully it will drop soon.”
Since her posts on Twitter, Ari has now deactivated her account. A search for the account returns with “This account doesn’t exist.”The R&B superstar is still active on Instagram, as she recently posted stories of herself flexing in the gym, showing that she may be down, but she’s definitely not out.
Ari Lennox has had some controversy lately, and it seems it is getting to her. The Dreamville singer tweeted that she wants to be dropped from all her labels amidst social media attacks after a “disrespectful” interview with a South African podcaster.
Back in November, The R&B singer was arrested in Amsterdam for disturbing public order after she complained about being racially profiled.
