Marvel Studios has reportedly hired Jeff Loveness to pen “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” the upcoming fifth “Avengers” film that will serve as part of the sixth phase of the MCU.
Loveness is a comedy screenwriter and producer who came to notice for penning four episodes of the fourth season of “Rick & Morty,” including the award-winning “The Vat of Acid Episode”.
More recently he penned “Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania,” a film that reportedly leads directly into ‘Kang Dynasty’ which makes his hiring understandable. Both films star Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror following Majors’ first appearance in the “Loki” first season finale.
Loveness joins Destin Daniel Cretton who was recently set as director on the project.
