The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Fall Split has ended with Nepal’s High Voltage coming out on top. The team, which placed ninth last season and got the sixth position in the league stage, completely turned their fortunes around in the PMPL South Asia Fall Split Finals to take the victory.

The PMPL South Asia Fall Split had a total prize pool of $150,000. Besides this, 10 spots to the South Asia Championship and two berths to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 were also up for grabs.

High Voltage highlight the importance of consistency

High Voltage managed to clinch the victory due to one reason – and that was consistency. From the 18 matches, they earned 10 top-four finishes, three of which were chicken dinners.

This earned the team a whopping 129 placement points, and coupled with their 93 eliminations, they were able to finish at the top of the table.

Mongolia’s DE Warriors came in second place. They finished at the standings table with 250 points, 27 behind the table-toppers. While the team got the most kills in the finals at 96, they lacked consistency and could only collect 89 placement points.

GodLike Stalwart, who were one of the favorites to win the tournament as the defending champions and the league stage winners, could only manage third place. While the team showed a strong performance in the finals by picking up two chicken dinners, they couldn’t counter DE Warriors’ and High Voltage’s aggression and had to settle for third.
