Perrie Edwards has not long given birth to her first child, revealing today that hers and beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s baby is a little boy, and that his full name is Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The chart-topping singer, 28, and her footy player boyfriend, also 28, welcomed baby Alex into the world on August 21, 2020, leaving it a full fortnight before giving fans any details regarding their newborn.
On August 22, they both shared intimate black and white images, showing the side of baby Axel’s face, but not revealing anything at all about their child other than the birth date.
However, earlier today the blonde bombshell posted a gorgeous series of images onto her Instagram account, revealing that they’d had a son, and he was called Axel, and fans and friends alike were “obsessed” with their name choice.

Celebrity friends such as Georgia Harrison and Danielle Lloyd all flooded to the comments to congratulate Perrie and Alex, calling baby Axel “gorgeous” and “so precious”.
Perrie – who has over 13million followers on Instagram – has since attracted a whopping 1.3million likes on the post, which features two photos of her son sleeping soundly in a tiny white basket as he’s wrapped in a white knitted blanket, wearing a baby blue hat.
Fans also gushed in the comments over Perrie and Alex’s unique choice of name, with many asking what its meaning was, or if he was named after anyone in particular.
