Tyga has addressed the offensive new music video “Ay Caramba” and apologizes to the Mexican American community.

“The American Cholo” podcaster took to Instagram and shared a clip of a recent interview with Tyga where he owns up to offending the Mexican community captioned:

“We have been heard and I truly hope @tyga listens to our grievances and takes the video down…If he does, he will get so much Live from US and as he should…Viva LA Raza # CALIMACS.”

The podcaster expressed his concerns about the music video in the clip, saying that Tyga had no real Mexican American representation.

The Grammy-nominated artist stated he was confused by the responses since his DJ and engineer are of Mexican descent.

However, in the past, the “Rack City” rapper has dropped music with a Latin flair. For example, The “Go Loco” song was to pay homage to the Mexican homies he grew up with.

With “Ay Caramba,” he had no intention of offending anyone and apologized to the Mexican community and fans wholeheartedly.

Lizzo received backlash after releasing a new song that will be featured on her upcoming album.

The “Truth Hurts” artist chose to learn from her mistakes instead of reacting.
