Disney+ and Hulu will release “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” the highly anticipated return and final arc of the iconic anime, which started its run back in 2004.
An adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name, it follows Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki, who guides departed souls to the afterlife and must defend humanity from supernatural evil.
Hulu is set to launch the series in simulcast in the U.S. on October 10th while Disney+ will release it internationally (excluding Asia and Arabic-Speaking Africa/Middle East) starting the same day.
The “Bleach” anime became one of the most popular of all time during its run right up to its end in 2014 but didn’t catch up with the manga. The new series will fully complete the adaptation
