Three years after Andy Hui (許志安) and Jacqueline Wong’s (黃心穎) scandal, everyone seems to have finally moved on. The singer held his online concert and indicated his intention to make a full-fledged comeback.
In the immediate aftermath of Andy’s cheating scandal, he berated himself as a “broken person” and said he would take time to reflect. Although he successfully repaired his marriage with Sammi Cheng, Andy was not fully forgiven by the public for his infidelity.
Subsequently, Andy made an appearance on a ViuTV show and filmed a Taiwanese drama to test the waters. Recently, he held a live streaming concert Human Live on a social media while singing “Between People” <人與人之間>.
Andy shared that he was a little nervous, as it has been a long time since he has performed. “I should be used to the microphone, but it seems a little foreign.” He also shared his favorite lyrics from his song, “We come into this world at peace, and we will leave this world at peace.” As the lyrics seem to indicate that he has come to terms with his past, he choked up while sharing what he has learned during these years. He feels that he needs more time to ground himself and reflect in order to become a better version of himself.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline has left the entertainment industry and started dating Rubberband drummer Lai Man Wang (泥鯭).
