Hilary Swank is about to be seeing double. During an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, October 5, the 48-year-old revealed she’ll soon become a mom to twins.
“I’m going to be a mom! And not just of one, but of two,” the Oscar-winning actor told the GMA hosts. “It’’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it.
“This is something I’ve been wanting for a long time,” she added. “I can’t believe it!”
The actor appeared on the morning show to discuss her new TV series Alaska Daily, in which she stars as investigative journalist Eileen Fitzgerald.
Hilary Swank was previously married to Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007 and was briefly engaged to former tennis pro Ruben Torres in 2016. She married husband Philip Schneider, a social venture entrepreneur, in 2018 following a two-year engagement. The pair first met on a blind date after being set up by mutual friends and went for a bottomless brunch that lasted far longer than your typical Sunday funday. “We met at 10:00 a.m. and parted ways at 11:00 p.m.,” Swank told Vogue in 2018. “We clearly enjoyed our time!”
The twins will be the first children for both. Congrats!
