There is further complexity to time-leaping in Tokyo Revengers chapter 271. Since Kazutora killed Shinichiro, he should be a time-leaper if killing the previous time-leaper is the key to gaining power.
Considering that Takemichi was the victim of a murder attempt, he should not be considered a time-leaper. It is possible that Takemichi’s attacker already mistook him for a time-leaper and tried to steal his power by pushing him.
The plot has become increasingly dependent on Haruchiyo. Shinichiro probably didn’t time travel as frequently as Takemichi, and this may have been his only time travel. It is most likely Haruchiyo who will set him off if he makes a habit of it.
The mangaka must be more coherent in his depiction of time travel in both cases. It is hoped that the next chapter will describe how this power is transferred and what its intricacies are.
Here are the latest updates.
According to rumors Shinichiro heard from a local gang, an elderly homeless man is rumored to be a time-leaper. This mysterious man holds the key to saving Manjiro from his tragic fate, and the older Sano boy is determined to meet him.
Even if the method of achieving this goal isn’t straightforward yet, fans know Shinichiro will somehow succeed.
However, his identity remains the biggest mystery. Most fans believe that Hanma is behind everything that happened in the series, but there are several other theories about who this mysterious character might be. Community controversy has always surrounded the young delinquent because of his bizarre behavior.
It would be possible to solve many mysteries surrounding Shinichiro if Hanma taught him how to time travel. His and Kisaki’s knowledge of time-leapers could explain how they could predict many critical events in the franchise before they happened.

5. Chapter 271 Recap
As a result of a fallout between delinquents, Hina died in an accident, and Takemichi wanted to change the outcome. To save her and the Tokyo Manji Gang, fans believed he time-leaped repeatedly to keep them.
Shinichiro, however, meets an older man who appears deranged in the latest chapter of the series. The man who claimed to travel back in time is being talked about in the bar, he realizes.
As he reveals how he got his power, the older man reveals a disturbing detail. He had to kill someone to gain the ability to travel back in time. The forces he acquired after killing someone remain unclear, regardless of this detail.
When the older man makes these words, Shinichiro’s eyes suddenly appear lifeless, resembling those of Mikey after he’s been consumed by Dark Impulses. Shinichiro then repeatedly attacks the older man’s head with a metal rod.
Shinichichiro weeps as he realizes he can no longer travel back in time. On the following day, Shinichiro jumps off a bridge in an attempt to end his life.
When Shinichiro gets to that point, he finds Mikey playing with his favorite plane, the Concorde, a scale model with which he is playing. It is also apparent from this chapter that there is a parallel with the other timelines.
Kazutora also killed Shinichiro with a metal rod in the panels where Shinichiro swung the rod to kill the older man.
Parallels were also drawn between the Bonten arc and this series. In addition to wearing similar outfits, Shinichiro and Mikey attempted to kill themselves in nearly identical panels.
This comparison has left Tokyo Revengers fans wondering why. The only two time-leapers shown in the series (Shinichiro and the older man) were forced to kill to acquire their powers, so Takemichi must have killed someone to gain these powers.
The personality of Takemichi makes it highly unlikely he would resort to violent means, much less kill someone, to save someone else’s life. Tokyo Revengers only seems to allow time-leaping when someone kills someone and is near death.
Despite this, this concept has many flaws. Tokyo Revengers is inconsistent throughout, making it difficult to determine how the powers are acquired, who the original time-leaper was, and how the concept works. Time-leaping is a concept that the fanbase hopes Ken Wakui will elaborate on and answer these questions.
