Like her brother Ben, Abby was born in Florida and was raised in Manhattan in an Orthodox Jewish family. At an early age, she and her family discovered a talent for singing, leading Abby to her studies at the Manhattan School of Music.
The singer, who has racked up tens of thousands of followers on her various socials, frequently posts about a variety of topics — everything from her family life to videos where she shares makeup tutorials, meme-style content and her opinions on topics related to gender, politics and modern life.
In December 2021, Abby compared Madonna and Nancy Reagan in a controversial tweet that quickly went viral.
“This is Madonna at 63. This is Nancy Reagan at 64. Trashy living vs. Classic living,” she wrote at the time, alongside a split image of the two women. “Which version of yourself do you want to be?”
One year prior, she also caused a stir when slamming Taylor Swift for her song “The Man,” which takes aim at gender inequality.
In addition to her political content, the YouTuber has pivoted into posting more lifestyle content, highlighting the whole of her pregnancy and now the early days of her first son’s life in vlogs.
She posts tips for people looking to get pregnant or people who are currently pregnant, shares stories about motherhood, and vlogs with her husband about breastfeeding, parenting, and raising their family.
Abby also operates a Substack Newsletter where she emails blogs and recommendations to her followers, including book recommendations, podcast recommendations, and question and answer sessions.
Abby married attorney Jacob Roth in May 2018. Roth, who studied at the University of Virginia, welcomed a son with the social media personality in March. The couple announced that they won’t be sharing the name of their first-born publicly and will only be posting photos from the first few days of the child’s life.

How Does Abby Incorporate Her Opera Training Into Her Online Presence?
In addition to “living classically” in her conservative lifestyle, the blogger also associates the term with her background as a trained opera singer.
“I have traditional values and I’m not afraid to share them!” she proclaims on her Substack page. “And I’m also a classical kind of girl. I’m an operatically trained singer! I love classical music and I think there’s a ton we can learn from opera and apply to everyday life.”
The siblings are related to Matilda star Mara Wilson, though the relatives are reportedly estranged due to differing political views.
