Emma Tammi (“Western The Wind”) is set to direct the film adaptation of the horror thriller video game “Five Nights at Freddy’s” at Blumhouse.
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is already working alongside Blumhouse to bring the game’s iconic killer animatronic characters to life.
Scott Cawthon created the game which follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at the family-friendly Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza joint.
While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through as the giant animatronic creatures turn deadly and can move when not being looked at.
Cawthon, Tammi and Seth Cuddeback are penning the script and pre-production is underway for an early 2023 start of filming. Cawthon and Jason Blum will produce the film
