The official Twitter for Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine announced today that a TV anime adaptation of Rasuko Okuma’s four-panel sci-fi yuri manga Hoshikuzu Telepath (Stardust Telepath) is now in the works.

The manga has been serialized in the magazine since May 2019 and its latest third tankobon volume is set to be released in Japan on October 27. The publisher’s official web page for the manga describes its first volume’s synopsis as below:
A shy girl, Umika’s problem is that she cannot speak well because of her excessive stage fright. She has gradually given up trying to make friends. Then one day, a transfer student named Yu appears. She is an alien and has the ability of “Odekopathy,” which allows her to understand the feelings of others when her forehead is attached to other’s…!? A dazzling coming-of-age story of “yuri” and “space” by up-and-coming author Rusuko Okuma.
The manga is featured on the cover of the magazine’s latest November 2022 issue with the announcement for the TV anime:
