The artist manager of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, BullGod has said that his main goal as a manager is to make sure his artist gains nominations in music award schemes.
Lawrence Asiamah popularly known as BullGod has revealed that when he starts to manage an artist, he has goals and his first goal is to get him awards for his hard work.

Speaking in an interview on the topic, “what does it take to make someone a successful star?” on Hitz FM Daybreak with Andy Dosty, he said, “when I take hold of an artist, my first goal in the first phase of our work is that you must be registered to any award scheme and you must get nominations.”

According to him, the most important thing is for the artist to gain that recognition because it makes the management team know he is heading towards something.
“You don’t necessarily have to win but we need to grab that nomination, it tells us where we are going and we will work hard to make a nomination and as for winning is either political or technical.
“Whatever you want to call it, but once you grab that nomination that means we have done something right and people have recognized that”.
