Firaxis Games is a popular video game developer that has worked on various strategy games. Its most popular titles include the XCOM and Civilization franchises. This time, the developers have partnered with 2K Games to release Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Today, Christopher Odd, a member of the development team, has showcased The Hunter, a playable character in the game. Interested fans can pre-order the game here. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
In its latest showcase, Christopher Odd shows off the first fully customizable super-hero in a Marvel game. The Hunter is the child of Lillith, the Mother of Demons, and the game’s protagonist. Furthermore, players as the Hunter will have access to different branches, namely the Power Branch, Light Branch and Dark Branch. Players can choose their path and build the character as they see fit.
In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the demonic Lillith and her minions have united the evil Horde. Players, as The Hunter, must lead a team of popular Marvel superheroes into tactical, strategic battle using cards and more. The goal is to return Lillith to the underworld by force!
Unfortunately, despite various character showcases, the game was recently delayed for many reasons. The developers set out to release the game this year, however it was pushed back until early 2023. Interested fans can check out showcases from characters such as Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, Captain Marvel and Dr. Strange.
