Who’s Playing
Maryland-Eastern Shore @ George Washington
Current Records: Maryland-Eastern Shore 5-6; George Washington 4-8
What to Know
The George Washington Colonials have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks at noon ET Dec. 22 at Charles E. Smith Center. The Colonials should still be feeling good after a victory, while Maryland-Eastern Shore will be looking to get back in the win column.
George Washington was able to grind out a solid win over the Radford Highlanders last Monday, winning 67-58. Guard James Bishop and forward Ricky Lindo Jr. were among the main playmakers for George Washington as the former had 21 points and the latter posted a double-double on 14 boards and ten points in addition to three blocks. Bishop hadn’t helped his team much against the Coppin State Eagles two weeks ago, so this was a nice turnaround for him.
Meanwhile, Maryland-Eastern Shore ended up a good deal behind the Charlotte 49ers when they played on Monday, losing 70-54.
George Washington’s victory brought them up to 4-8 while the Hawks’ defeat pulled them down to 5-6. The Colonials are 1-2 after wins this year, and Maryland-Eastern Shore is 2-3 after losses.
