The six raids, by Ottawa police with assistance from the RCMP, provincial police and Smiths Falls police, followed a five-month investigation, the Ottawa Police Service said in a media Saturday.
The investigation identified five sites in Ottawa and one in Smiths Falls “as having a connection with shooting and drug trafficking incidents.”
The locations were not identified.
Seized in the raids were quantities of hydromorphone, fentanyl, cocaine, oxycondone, methylphenidate, stolen property over $5,000 and pepper spray.
Arrested were an Ottawa man, 22, plus a 44-year-old man and 26-year-old woman from Smith Falls. They were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
