Amazon Prime has released the first trailer for the long-gestating sci-fi drama “The Peripheral,” which hails from “Westworld” duo Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan’s Kilter Films.
Scott B. Smith is the creator and showrunner of this adaptation of the famed William Gibson novel.
Chloë Grace Moretz stars as Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America.
Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed. She has no future, until the future comes calling for her. Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, Charlotte Riley and more co-star.
“The Peripheral” is produced by Amazon Studios and Warner Bros. Television while Smith, Vincenzo Natali, Greg Plageman, Athena Wickham, Nolan, Joy, and Steven Hoban executive produce.
“The Peripheral” premieres on October 21st.
