Today Cloak & Dagger Games is happy to announce the release date for their point-and-click mystery adventure, The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow. Releasing on September 28th, the game aims to provide players with a unique mystery experience. A press release delivers more details about the game. The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow introduces players to Antiquarian Thomasina Bateman. Writing a book about the barrows of England, she receives a letter. This letter summons her to the small village of Bewlay in the English countryside. However, not everything is as it seems. Thomasina’s assistant, the man who sent the letter, is missing.
Focusing on an evolving mystery inspired by real English folklore, the game will introduce players to a whole cast of characters. Of course they will explore the countryside with classic point-and-click controls. As they adventure players will unravel the mystery surrounding Hob’s Barrow encountering a strange and dreary atmosphere full of puzzle encounters. Importantly, players can get a look at the game in the trailer. Of course this includes it’s art style and it’s point-and-click style, check out the game.
