Cat Power shared her new Jim Jarmusch–directed video for the Pogues’ “A Pair of Brown Eyes” from her latest LP Covers. It’s Chan Marshall’s first collaboration with Jarmusch; the clip was shot at Blonde Studios in New York. Check it out below.
“As someone who deeply loves Cat Power’s music, getting to collaborate with Chan on this video was like a dream come true,” Jim Jarmusch remarked in a press statement. “She’s so inspiring to me, of course as an artist, but she’s also just such an extraordinary person.”
Cat Power released Covers in January. Last fall, she played her version of Frank Ocean’s “Bad Religion” on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Cat Power is currently touring North America with a full band.
