She says she followed the safety norms as is required for any traveller. “Yep, I had to first quarantine after I returned. But later I was very happy to meet my family and share a meal with them. I thought of them a lot over this time and was so worried about them,” says the actress. She must have missed the
ghar ka khaana too? “Initially, I was under quarantine at a hotel near airport so I just ate salad and some other basic stuff. Later my sister and mom made
aloo paratha and fried fish for me, which I had a tiny bite out of as I’m on a diet,” she informs.
‘The pandemic and lockdown made me grateful for being alive ‘
So will this be a working trip or just some time to catch up with friends and family, we ask? “Well, I have started reconnecting with film industry folks, old colleagues and acquaintances from the film fraternity who are my well-wishers and who would be open to working with me in future.” She adds that the pandemic gave the nudge to get back to films. Adds Tanushree, “The pandemic and lockdown made me grateful for being alive despite the circumstances. Also, it made me introspect and realise that perhaps it’s time to get back to Bollywood and start working again. I have lost a total of 15 kgs and I’m getting screen ready again. I would like to meet everyone especially those with whom I have never worked before and I’m looking forward to having a wonderful time.”
