Now we have official confirmation of the game, knowing how to pre-order Assassin’s Creed Mirage is of the utmost import to many players and fans – ourselves included.
As announced recently at the Ubisoft Forward showcase, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next installment in the mega-series. It will cover Basim’s (of Valhalla fame) journey from street thief to master assassin in 9th Century Baghdad. Mirage takes place a few decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during the Islamic Golden Age when the city was a centre of learning, innovation, science, and power.
The game looks to go back to the series’ roots with a return to stealth-action and narrative-driven foundations for the game, harking back to the original few AC games that featured fan-favorite Ezio and the series’ original protagonist, Altair. This is a key reason as to why many fans will be keenly interested in knowing how to nail down an Assassin’s Creed Mirage pre-order.
As with previous releases, and often with Ubisfot games, your Assassin’s Creed Mirage pre-order can take the shape of three different forms and we’ve listed those options and where you can place your orders below. Remember, however, that there are always some goodies to get by pre-ordering, and the one that you’ll definitely get is the extra story content, ‘The Forty Thieves’ quest.

Plain and simple, pre-ordering the standard edition of Assassin’s Creed Mirage gets you the base game and that Forty Thieves quest line. Worth noting that this relatively reasonably priced for a brand-new current-gen game, which is most welcome news.

Pre-order Assassin’s Creed Collector’s Case
The final variant, and the edition that’s caught many pre-ordering eyes is the Collector’s Case edition. There is a significant focus on the case itself, which houses everything bundled in the elite edition of the new game. Elsewhere though, there’s a steelbook for the game itself, with a design that will be decided upon at some point in the future by voting from fans. You’ll also get your very own map of Baghdad, a soundtrack on disc, as well as a digital download of the soundtrack itself, and a mini art book.
However, note that there is no physical copy of the game included (despite the steelbook being designed for a disc) in the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collector’s Case edition. This means that while you’re shelling out £129.99 for the special edition of the action game, you’ll have to download the new game when it launches instead of getting a disc.
In the US, it looks like the Collector’s Case is only available at the official Ubisoft Store – but it doesn’t explicitly state that it is. This means we could see it popping up at some other retailers in the near future (or, conversely, see a clarification published on the Ubisoft store that will state it is a Ubi exclusive). In the UK, as with most special eds, it’s a Game exclusive.
