The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan on September 29, followed by an Asian release this year, so it’s time to see how it all kicks off. Falcom shared an early peek at the RPG’s opening movie, which serves up some fun and flashy imagery to the tune of Falcom jdk BAND’s “CRIMSON SiN” theme song.

CRIMSON SiN finds Van investigating a bizarre massacre in a corner of Edith City that interrupts a period of relative peace in the Republic of Calvard. The plot thickens as the hunt for the culprit begins and Van encounters a young boy and girl in search of something that will lead them down an inescapable path.
