The official website of the Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu (Skeleton Knight in Another World) television anime revealed on Friday five additional cast and a third promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 7 at 11:30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11.

Anisong unit Dialogue+ (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.) is performing the ending theme “Bokura ga Orokadanante Dare ga Itta,” which is previewed in the promotional video below.
Katsumi Ono (Senki Zesshou Symphogear G) is helming the anime at animation studios HORNETS and Studio Kai. Takeshi Kikuchi (Night Wizard original creator) is handling the series composition and Tooru Imanishi (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka?) is designing the characters. Eba (Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil opening theme composition) and Tsubasa Itou (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) are composing the music.
The anime adapts Enki Hakari‘s action fantasy novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2014. Overlap began publishing the series featuring illustrations by KeG the following June and published the ninth volume in March 2019.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both light novel and manga in English in September 2018. The light novel’s ninth volume shipped digitally on May 27 and physically on August 3. The manga’s eighth volume will ship on April 26.
