Popular
pan-India
star
Rashmika
Mandanna,
who
came
into
the
national
spotlight
with
her
dance
numbers
and
performance
in
Allu
Arjun’s
Telugu
superhit
entertainer
Pushpa:
The
Rise,
was
instantly
declared
the
nation’s
crush.
Everybody
was
eager
to
know
more
about
the
Kannada
girl,
while
she
soon
got
a
bunch
of
amazing
offers
from
Bollywood.
However,
the
young
and
bubbly
actress
has
always
faced
negative
criticism
and
trolls
for
expressing
her
opinions.
WHY
WAS
RASHMIKA
MANDANNA
TROLLED?
The
26-year-old
star
was
recently
trolled
mercilessly
for
her
remarks
on
how
Bollywood
films
have
always
had
the
best
romantic
numbers,
while
the
South
has
only
masala
and
item
numbers.
Her
comments
did
not
go
down
well
with
some
people
on
the
internet.
Many
took
offence
at
Rashmika’s
comments,
and
fans
reacted
angrily
on
social
media.
One
user
wrote,
“This
is
why
Kannada
people
hate
her.
She
speaks
without
even
thinking
properly
(sic).” Another
commnted,
“She
might
be
wrong
in
stereotyping
the
industries
but
as
fans
we
all
are
proud
of
our
masala
and
item
numbers,
which
pump
up
the
adrenaline
in
the
movie.
I
understand
not
liking
the
stereotype
as
Telugu
melodies
are
unmatched,
but
this
bashing
is
shameful
(sic).”

a

Rashmika
Mandanna
has
stood
up
for
herself
against
all
the
hate.
Clapping
back
at
the
trollers,
Rashmika
shared
a
few
pictures
and
wrote,
“I
got
to
see
so
much
love
pouring
in
that
day
and
it
makes
me
feel
extremely
grateful…
Thank
you
my
loves…
last
few
days
of
2022…
and
this
new
year
I
hope
there’s
only
and
only
love
for
all
of
you…
God
bless
you
with
good
health
and
happiness!” followed
by
a
couple
of
white
heart
emoticons.
Donned
in
off-white
saree
with
floral
prints
on
its
border
and
heavy
printed
sleeveless
blouse,
Rashmika
in
both
the
pictures
is
seen
flashing
her
million
dollar
smile.
The
actress
accessorised
her
look
with
jhumkas
and
bangles
and
kept
her
hair
open
in
waves.
She
added
a
bindi
to
complete
the
look
and
went
for
a
glam
makeup
look
with
lots
of
mascara.
WHAT
DID
RASHMIKA
SAY?
Rashmika
Mandanna
was
promoting
her
forthcoming
spy
thriller
Hindi
movie
Mission
Majnu,
where
she
said,
“Bollywood
romantic
songs
were
a
thing.
For
me,
while
growing
up,
romantic
songs
meant
Bollywood
numbers.
In
South,
we
have
mass
masala,
item
numbers
and
dance
numbers.
This
is
my
first
Bollywood
romantic
song.
I
am
so
excited
because
it’s
so
good
(sic).”
The
video
went
viral
on
social
media,
inviting
criticism
from
audiences.
Earlier,
she
was
trolled
for
not
watching
