HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Thursday rose in defence of CBSE’s syllabi rationalisation for classes IX to XII given the Covid-19 pandemic, saying politics should be left out of education.
Pokhriyal termed the debate on the issue as a “false narrative” even as some experts called the CBSE move motivated. Educationist Anita Rampal has even sought a review of CBSE move. The minister called the entire discussion “uninformed commentary”.
