In her message, the ‘OK Kanmani’ actress says that the cardio vascular disease is the primary cause of death on the planet and it is caused by various lifestyle factors like smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity among others.And then, she lists down five healthy habits that we can incorporate in our daily lives to have a healthy heart. She starts the list with the importance of eating healthy home-cooked food using fresh vegetables. Second one in het list is a way to beat stress caused by several factors. She says that we should find a way to do something that we love and invest time in it to keep stress at bay. The third point in her list focuses on the importance of exercises. She mentions that 45 minutes of exercise on a daily basis will help in a big way to keep one’s heart healthy. Next, she stresses on the importance of seven to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep. And finally, she points out that it is important to do health check-ups once every six months.
