Chrissy Teigen showed off her baby bump while wearing sheer Gucci underwear when she announced she and husband John Legend were expecting their rainbow baby nearly two years after losing their son.
The model, 36, paired the $520 high-waisted undies with a black cropped T-shirt as she posed in her closet mirror.
The delicately designed luxury underwear accentuated Teigen’s growing midsection as she showed off a large bruise on her left thigh from undergoing in vitro fertilization.
“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” she captioned her Instagram announcement. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce ‘but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”

The “Cravings” author stated “joy” has filled their “home and hearts again” since receiving the good news.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing,” she continued.
The couple lost their third child, Jack, in September 2020 after Teigen was rushed to the hospital after experiencing excessive bleeding.
“Despite bags and bags of blood transfusions” they were unable to save their little one, Teigen said in an emotional Instagram post shortly after.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” the mother of two wrote. “To our Jack — I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”
Teigen and Legend already share 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles.
